Anthony at the Placer fair 6/10

At 4 Anthony is a big guy these days. The balloon hat is a charmer.... The first ride on the cars was a winner and of course making frogs had the determination of an artist.

Lexi and nana Sheep too

Lexi and I have a special bond. I love it when she sits on my lap or in this case behind me and says "I love you nana" Oh yes we also have sheep out back trimming the weeds.

Ashton's First Steps

Clayton sent this via iPhone they were his first steps. He was off and walking before Alea. His walking papers arrived in March.

The Twins First Birthday May 29, 2010

Ashton is up and walking now. Alea is still faster on her knees. Both want mommy's lap. They had a party of family and friends. It was cupcake time and then off to naps. They take 3 hr naps, toss in bed and they are out like lights. Speaking of lights remember they live in a country home and there are no street lights so when it is dark it is very dark. All of the kids sleep in pitch black rooms. I didn't sleep without a nightlight as a child, but these kids do. Note:the blanket I make their crib quilts they are fleece on both sides with blue sailboats being Ashton's and Alea's with pink and purple boats.

Alea's first steps

We were having a BBQ Clayton looks good in his Father's Day apron and to go with the apron came the BBQ. This was early summer and the grasses are dry around the place. Kids love it in all seasons

At school with Anthony

It was Grandparents day and Gizmo created a big stir as you can see but Anthony wasn't impressed with Gizmo so he was off playing. We caught up with him while he set the table and helped the teachers. Mom put the tattoo and it was special.

Taking the Barbi car for a ride at Alexis's house

As you can see Julie and Clayton live in the country. The road Alexis is driving down is the road into their home. It is a 22% grade. They take a few tumbles and face plants but the kids shake it off and keep on going. Here is a posed picture and a quick video
